That’s a picture of where I went on vacation. Walking through the forest was a great way to recharge. I had a great time.

Happy Thanksgiving all you locavores! As I reflect on all that’s happened in this past season, I feel so incredibly blessed and I have so much to be thankful for. I feel that either I’m dreaming or I’m living a dream. It’s probably the latter because when I pinch myself it definitely hurts. Life is good.

Not to be the bearer of bad news, but you will all have to wait until 2014 for more vegetables from Crooked Carrot Farm. Next year I’m taking a sabbatical to hike the Appalachian Trail. If you want to keep up with me check the website and Facebook. I haven’t decided exactly how I will keep a trail journal yet (pen & paper or internet) but I will definitely post some sort of update online. I wish you joyful Thanksgiving festivities with friends and family and like always, I hope you eat well. 🙂
